Dec. 3rd, 2007 08:34 pmI didn't get a lot done today, but it was fun.
I've made the 4 halves of my first pass at the Viking beads into full semispheres. Now, upon closer examination of the picture, I probably ought to have stopped a step before what I did! I shall remember this for next time. But my first 2 prototype beads are well on their way- especially since i annealed and twisted more decorative wire for their motifs. This wire is now very tightly twisted, which seems to be what I'm seeing.
I also worked on some gift items. More about these when they are done- and probably after Xmas. :)
