Nov. 13th, 2009 04:35 pmFabio- my spendid new rolling mill- still reclines in his box, awaiting his new cabinet stand. Meanwhile he taunts me with his manual, which describes his many virtues. Sigh! :)
I do have to say a lot for Rio Grande's customer service, though. I emailed them about the lack of a key on Sunday night, and first thing Monday they called, and offered to either send us a new cabinet WITH keys, and to pay for us to return the old one, or to just send us a new lock and keys, and we could drill out the old lock. Since we've never drilled out a lock in our lives, and were concerned we'd damage the cabinet as we learned, we opted for the replacement- and they sent it that day; it's just that it takes a week to get across the country.
I am SO looking forward to working with this rolling mill! it's going to make a number of things I'm already doing a lot easier, AND enable me to do much, much more!
