afmetalsmithI ended up scrapping the Brigid's Cross Attempt #3 as well; it wasn'n coming out even due to the instructions. I did think it through, though, and have started #4 for which I hae high hopes.
I'm nt sure they'd be suitable for casting, however; they may be too thin metal. Maybe if I flowed solder into all the cracks once it's done...
