Dec. 31st, 2006 10:16 pmStudio time makes me happy!
Today I finished the soldering on one of the large brass filigree stars that's meant for a gift.
I also did a lot of work dressing the 2 tiny hammers I got last Thursday. They're the smallest hammers I've found thus far, and really cheap- about $3 each- but they require some serious work before I can use them (with my beloved miniature stakes). I have now softened all hard edges, and done much to make the surfaces smooth and mirror-shiny. Another hour or so ought to make both hammers entirely usable- handy, because I have a ring I want to use them on!
