Feb. 20th, 2007 08:30 pmI have a fine silver cloisonne blank, and have been contemplating ways in which to use it.
I think I am going to go with a Tudor rose design, with gold in the center, opaque enamels (black? cobalt blue? charcoal?) as the background, and a transparent/translucent petal color moving from white to deep pink- the rose color that's traditionally called (in French) "thighs of an aroused nymph". :)
Sounds like fun. :)
(Is spring in the air?)
