Feb. 27th, 2007 10:37 pmI have mostly been toiling in the html mines lately, so don't have a lot of metals stuff to discuss.
I did get some good studio work done today, though: all the soldering's been done on my Crow Moon scent lockets, so now I can enter the finishing process with them; I've cut the band for a poison ring to fit its box, and filed the ends to a snug fit; I just have the final finishing to do on an earring commission; and a filigree pendant with a cabochon stone is heading toward having the soldering done- it's got a lot of filigree, so this is true progress.
As far as my website goes: I want to add some discussion (in addition to this blog!) of aspects of using metals. Any thoughts on what you yourself might like to read? I plan to have, for starters, a discussion of the metals that can be used for wedding rings, and their pluses and minuses- but I'd like more than just that!

Date: 2007-02-28 09:13 pm (UTC)...Although I expect I'll have to come up with a more reasoned approach than "Oooo! Shiny!" ;)
However, I do tend to favor some kinds of stones, and not so much others. A lot's based on price, but not always, certainly! And I definitely have opinions on some things, both that I do use and that I don't. So I think this sounds like a fun idea, and I really appreciate it!
