Please visit my website's "new" area to see some of the new stuff I've been working on and posting.

This is only a partial view; I have a number more pictures that I'm processing, and even more new pieces that have not yet been photographed.

Plus, of course, the stuff I'm working on now. For example, today I fused the blank for another argentium ring, to be set with numerous small stones. I also have almost completed the links and clasp for a modern variant on an ancient loop-in-loop chain, making a bracelet.

Tomorrow I plan to finish the bracelet bits, make a few more earring bits, and then kiln-harden the argentium I'm using in all of these. Then I'll polish, bring up the germanium, and (I hope) finish another few pieces.

Thank you! I hate to say it, because it sounds stupid, but it's really prettier in person- the 3D aspect just doesn't come through in the photos.

I'd originally made these a few years ago, as samples for my intermediate-level metals class, since they use lots of techniques that are covered there and in the beginning class. I wasn't totally happy with the result, though, since I'd attached everything together with a rivet on the back of the citrine setting... which meant that the petals etc. pivoted. Like a pinwheel. People liked that, but it was NOT what I wanted, and besides- too much of it could make the whole thing fall apart. So a few months ago I pulled both of them apart, added a second rivet for stability, and put them back together... which was a bit of a challenge itself, but I'm much happier with them now.

Not that you asked, of course. :)
