Oh, dear. Another too-long gap between posts...

I have accomplished things, though! I am now entirely through my backlog of photos taken but not posted. Yay, me! Mind, I still have a pile of stuff that needs photos... but I've at least done what I've got.

So please check out the new stuff on my site, some of which is for sale either there or on Etsy!

I've been doing a lot of commission work, too, but won't be posting about it until it's done. I'm finishing up a few things, and am maybe halfway through a later one; I have a couple more in the pipeline as well, which is a nice situation to be in.

I've been encountering some real frustration, though. I posted a while back about wanting to order some of the newish sterling/platinum alloy from ABI Precious Metals. And... I still don't have it. What's more, I have no idea when or if I'll ever get it. It's now been over 5 weeks, we've submitted paperwork for an account (and heard nothing back), we've made arrangements- supposedly- to buy a small amount and pay with a credit card- and this was several weeks ago, and there has been no sign of the metal, not have we succeeded in contacting them to ask what's going on.

So- I'm not happy. At this point I'm almost hoping I hate the stuff- because even if I love it, I sure can't use it if it required a couple of months of hassling to maybe get some!

Lovely stuff -- I love the trillium, as well as the multi-stone rings.

There is a typo on the mother's ring page...you've got "memger" instead of "member" of the family.

Thank you much. I am an appalling typist, and have not yet quite figured out how to use the spellcheck in Dreamweaver.

Dreamweaver has a spellcheck? Then again, I haven't used Dreamweaver in a few years.

Well... I assume it does- it seems to have everything. Though now that you mention it...

Oh, I imagine it probably does. And it'd be a nice one, too, as it would recognize html tags.

Also: the trillium is one of the pieces that still pleases me greatly, after making it many years ago. As several of my favorite pieces are, its inspiration was initially more technical than artistic... but the tech constraints inspired me to make something that I really, really like.

To the point that there was one aspect of it I didn't like- the petals etc. could rotate rather like a pinwheel- and I took it apart and fixed that recently. Now, usually I do not rework old stuff- it is what it is- but I love this enough that it was worth it.

I love colorful and sparkly stones. Hell- I love color. That's one reason I've been focusing on getting good at stone-setting, and why I adore enamels.

Well it really caught my eye. (The trillium, that is. I like to trillium-spot whenever we go anywhere in the spring.)

Color is good. The sunburst is also lovely, but I think I've mentioned that before. I like the confetti rings, too.

That Filigree Heart pendant is *AMAZING*- and this from someone who generally dislikes heart stuff ('cause I'm bitter, jaded, & cynical like that, yo)

I'm pleased with it, all told, but it really is just a project from the DVD. The most creative I got was using the beads on the dangle instead of a stick pearl. :P

I'm working on a couple of things that are more original, though.
