afmetalsmithI have decided I very much like the "hugs & kisses" characterization of my current loop-in-loop bracelet, and I will be adorning the catch to reflect the theme.
I am also debating 1. making one in gold, with a simpler yet still "hugs & kisses" catch; and 2. if yes to gold, whether to use 14k (stronger) or 18k (prettier). Decisions...
...And I had an idea w while back for some jewelry that would be perfect for Valentine's day, and it does not look like I'll be able to make it for that. Not even a sample. Grr.

Date: 2009-01-22 12:54 am (UTC)I've decided to start with a 14k version, and maybe make an 18k one sometime in the future. 14k gold is sturdier, and so rather more appropriate for a bracelet, anyway.
